Wisdom and Reverence for God
Wisdom has a treasury of wise sayings, but sinners have nothing but contempt for godliness. If you want to be wise, keep the Lord's commands, and he will give you Wisdom in abundance. Fearing the Lord is Wisdom and an education in itself. He is pleased by loyalty and humility. Be faithful in the practice of your religion; when you worship the Lord, do it with all your heart. Be careful about what you say, and don't be a hypocrite. Don't be arrogant; you may suffer a fall and be disgraced. The Lord will reveal your secrets and humble you in front of everyone in the synagogue, because you did not come there with reverence for the Lord, but with a heart full of hypocrisy.
End of the day, just about to retire, every night, I make it a point to have a heart to heart conversation with my Creator which gives me peace. Sometimes our conversations are short and at times long😀, sometimes filled with sadness😌 but most of the times with joy🤗. At times I feel silly and we laugh together. I have a roof over my head, food on my table, clothes to wear and few coins in my pocket..thanks to my better half and our son..God bless them. What more do I need? Nothing is permanent here on this earth because we belong to God. He knows my needs and I believe that He provides me with everything that I need for the day. I trust in Him. I feel content with gratitude for being alive and healthy. Thank you Lord🙏
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.
